    Your role and responsibilities

    The DCC Data Engineer will be responsible for building ETL pipelines leveraging pyspark, sql and python. The position requires both technical and non-technical skills to contribute to tasks that include data engineering, design, and more. The Data Engineer job duties will include data management, working with delta live tables in databricks, using sql to transform raw data into dimensional and aggregate data.

    Required technical and professional expertise

    * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field

    * Up to 10 years’ experience as a data engineer

    * Experience working in agile environment

    * Experience with Databricks, Python, Pyspark

    * Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate - Certified

    * Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment

    * Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Clearance at some point after hired

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    * Experience working in aviation/with the FAA

    * Experience supporting Federal Clients

    * Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional
