We are seeking an experienced Quant Analytics Sr. Associate to work closely with cobrand partners and functional teams to develop Card acquisition offers strategy, optimize investment outcomes, and drive sustainable growth of the credit card business. As a Quant Analytics Sr Associate in Card Data and Analytics Acquisitions Forecast and Offers Analytics, you will use your business acumen and skills in analytics, project management, and stakeholder management to initiate, develop, and complete projects to drive Card acquisitions. Specifically, you will develop original analyses, create reports, and improve processes to support the development, monitoring, and refinement of Card acquisitions offers strategy. You will work interdependently, providing tactical support and strategic oversight to business partners across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Risk teams to deliver against growth targets.
The Acquisitions Forecast & Offers Analytics team is integral to Card D&A, focusing on the development and application of data assets and quantitative methods to inform and drive credit card acquisition strategy. You will work with industry-leading cobrands and emerging partnerships, contributing to the growth of our credit card portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
+ Provide both tactical support and strategic oversight to Product, Marketing, Finance, and Risk teams to drive credit card acquisitions investment decisions
+ Develop and communicate actionable data-driven insights for marketing campaigns
+ Leverage existing data assets and develop new ones to improve acquisitions forecast quality and grow the business sustainably
+ Support card business goals by developing reports for senior leaders to define and monitor key performance metrics
+ Champion the data and analytics community, representing business users and analysts to data architects, platform developers, and data owners, and nurturing a broader culture of data-as-an-asset
+ Improve ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness, identifying and closing gaps between people, processes, and systems
+ Ensure business continuity by driving the adoption of standards and best practices
+ Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, computer science, physical sciences)
+ Six years of professional experience combined or equivalent in data/decision science, forecasting, data management/engineering, and business intelligence
+ Intermediate or better experience with data ETL, analysis, visualization, and change management using software tools such as Snowflake, SAS, Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, GitHub, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to audiences of varying technical levels
+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Experience with causal inference and machine learning techniques, having developed and deployed quantitative analyses and models in a professional environment
+ Professional experience in consumer banking, lending, or similarly regulated industries
