SUMMARY OF JOB
Sr Clinical Systems Analyst role Leads design of complex systems needs of staff and operating departments. Interviews users to determine in depth clinical information needs, current workflow and sources of required data. Leads Development, tests, and modifies complex internal applications systems. Serves as clinical expert on system selection team. Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various clinical applications. Mentoring IT application analysts.
The Sr Clinical Systems Analyst will participate in clinical application selection, design, development, testing, enhancement, documentation, and ongoing support of all Acute Care Hospital based and Ambulatory Surgical Centers clinical applications to support business and patient care processes. Participates in evaluation, selection and implementation of new technologies. Follows technical standards for development, testing, change management and documentation. Practices continuous quality improvement, and serves as support resource for IT Projects and teams throughout the enterprise.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
+ 5-8 years of relevant work experience
+ Associates Degree or a combination of relevant clinical education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
+ Demonstrated advanced experience in Electronic Medical Records and hospital based software.
+ Subject Matter expertise and a track record in developing and implementing clinical software and interoperability that provides value to the customer base.
+ Demonstrates proficiency in Acute Care Application Systems. Systems that include CPOE, eprescribing, Pharmacy, and clinical documentation. Regulatory initiatives. All aspects of Hospital EHR. Soarian Clinical experience a plus.
+ Experience with hospital ancillary systems.
+ Proven abilities to work with Clinicians including but limited to Nurses and Physicians.
+ Proven abilities to work on IT teams, and as IT lead.
+ Ability to ensure processes and workflows are reviewed, documented, changed, and optimized as part of all technology deployment.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the IT, user, and vendor community.
