    Description

    Join our compassionate team in our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program, where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered environment. We support infants through age 14 who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical need, helping each child thrive in a safe and caring setting.

     

    Schedule

     

    + PRN night shifts and weekends

    + Ideal candidate would want to pick up regular PRN shifts at least 8-12 hours per week and pick up with short notice.

     

    How You’ll Make an Impact

     

    + Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.

    + Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.

    + Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.

    + Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.

    + Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.

     

    What You’ll Need

     

    + Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa

    + Certified Medication Aid preferred

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand

    + Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
