Founded by physical therapists in 2000, Green Oaks Physical Therapy now has 17 locations and is still growing. We have an immediate need for a **Part-Time Physical Therapist Technician** .     Job Description

    Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Technician in Grand Prairie, United States! We're seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to support our physical therapy department in providing exceptional care to our patients.

     

    + Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care and treatment plans

    + Prepare treatment areas and set up therapy equipment for patient sessions

    + Demonstrate exercises and assist patients with prescribed therapeutic activities

    + Apply hot and cold packs, and other modalities as directed by the physical therapist

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment

    + Assist patients with mobility and transfers as needed

    + Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team

    + Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls

    + Ensure proper maintenance and care of therapy equipment

    + Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a positive and supportive patient experience

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; current enrollment in a physical or occupational therapy curriculum program preferred

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor

    + Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

    + Genuine interest in helping people and commitment to patient care

    + Solid work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    + Basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology

    + Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocols

    + Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment

    + Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer skills

    + Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a supportive environment for patients

    + Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs

    + CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
