    Description

    SAIC has new opportunities to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Tech Center in Atlantic City, NJ! These positions are 100% onsite and may require some travel to other airports within the United States.

    Job Responsibilities may include:

    + Provide support to Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering.

    + Prepare crates - pack supplies and equipment for site installs.

    + Configure equipment.

    + Build and test cables (serial and Ethernet).

    Qualifications

    Required Education & Experience:

    + Bachelor of Arts/Science degree and 5+ years experience; may accept additional experience or degrees.

    + Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification.

    + Experience with cable fabrication (serial and Ethernet).

    + Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Excellent organizational skills.

    + Experience with inventory management.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.

    + Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

    + Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, have the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.

    + Excellent troubleshooting skills.

    Required Clearance:

    + US Citizenship.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
