    Position Overview

    Trax is seeking aSenior React Developerto join our application team. You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js. This is an opportunity to work on impactful aviation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior developers.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React.js.

    + Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

    + Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

    + Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and performance.

    + Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

    + Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve development processes.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.

    + Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.).

    + Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).

    + Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

    + Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).

    + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    + Experience with TypeScript.

    + Familiarity with Next.js or other SSR frameworks.

    + Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.

    + Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

    + Experience working in a cloud-native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Experience and/or passion for the Aviation industry, a plus.

    Other Requirements:

    + Ability to travel domestically and internationally preferred.

    + Ability to support customers on off hours.

    + Ability to participate in on-call schedule to support SLA coverage planning.
