    The following position is to join our RTX Corporate** **Integrated Communications Team:

    Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is Raytheon’s premier supplier of advanced aerospace and defense products that enable a safer, more connected world. This business area provides customers with capabilities in radio frequency solutions; space, imaging and microelectronics; and electro-optical / infrared solutions. RTX Communications is seeking an outstanding candidate to develop and deliver communications strategies and content to support the business and growth goals of the portfolio. As a member of the Communications team, you will work with company leaders to help drive business results by providing strategic, world-class communications in support of company priorities.

    What You Will Do:

    + Serve as the Communications point of contact and a key member of the leadership team supporting the Strategic Business Unit (APS) and its president.

    + Provide communications counsel to SBU president and SSBU leaders

    + Develop and lead an integrated communications campaign and cross-functional team to support the business and program objectives.

    + Educate COEs on business objectives, technologies and products.

    + Develop and execute a comprehensive, integrated communications strategy – broad knowledge of internal/executive communications, marketing and media.

    + Develop communications deliverables (talking points, prep packages, posts, web features, speeches, holding statements, etc.) in partnership with COEs in support of communications and campaign strategies.

    + Track campaign progress and partner with cross-functional colleagues on metrics. Conduct regular business reviews with business and functional leadership to assess progress and course correct as necessary.

    + Identify and prepare business leaders for external speaking opportunities.

    + Partner with Media Relations to achieve a positive narrative in the media and leverage program news and milestones.

    + Facilitate media interviews and ensure participants are prepared.

    + Prepare and secure approvals for media statements/Q&As and talking points in partnership with the business leaders and Media Relations team.

    + Partner with the Brand, Advertising and Events team to develop and deliver effective assets and experiences as part of our communications campaigns.

    + Plan, attend and leverage industry trade shows and events to deliver results in support of business objectives and as part of campaigns – including media, social media, customer testimonials and meetings with communications counterparts to build and advance relationships.

    + Partner with the Digital Communications team to design and deploy content which generates strong engagement, externally and internally.

    + Develop relationships with Communications counterparts at customer organizations and partner companies, as well as members of the media and third-party influencers to raise awareness of and advocacy for the advantages of Raytheon, RTX and Advanced Products & Solutions.

    + Coordinate closely with international Communications to support the international expansion of the business, focusing on key programs and campaign priorities.

    + Approximately 10% travel to both domestic and international locations

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience **or** in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

    + **Must** be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role

    + Strategic thinker and proven leader with strong interpersonal, influencing, and collaboration skills.

    + Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills (written, oral, and virtual).

    + Extensive experience delivering successful communications campaigns in global engineering/manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or related industries.

    + Proficient in utilizing diverse communication platforms, including print, electronic, social media, video, and industry events, and thriving in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

    Please consider the following role type definitions as you apply for this role:

    + **Remote:** This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

    The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
