About Our Family Medicine Clinic:
The Family medicine providers at Novant Health care for adults of all ages regardless of ailment. We offer same-day and next-day sick visits whenever possible for hurt or injured patients, and we focus on preventive care to help you stay as healthy as possible. Our on-site services mean you can get much of the medical care you need without leaving our clinic, and from providers you already know who know you and your medical history.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Manages, supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the operations of physician practices, complex management responsibility (i.e., billing and collecting), and/or special projects, (i.e. practice start up), as directed by Administration. This is an experienced level practice management position with a high level of complexity. Practice scope is complex for number of providers, staff and revenue with a larger geographical area and possible practices in 2 or more locations.
Qualifications
+ Education: Must meet one of the following: Four year Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience, required.
+ Licensure/Certification: Current State Drivers License (Home Care Only), required.
+ Additional Skills (required): Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; skills in interviewing and selection process; understanding of budgeting, staffing, payroll and purchasing processes; implementation of competency, feedback, development and progressive discipline processes; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations.
