    + Location: Forsyth Medical Center - Winston Salem, NC

     

    Join our dynamic nursing team now as a Certified Nursing Assistant I in our neuroscience unit at FMC. The NHFMC Neurosciences Unit is a 43-bed acute inpatient unit dedicated to the care of patients with stroke and other neurological and neurosurgical disorders, with 33 medical telemetry beds, 6 medical surgical beds, and 4 intermediate level epilepsy monitoring beds.     Qualifications

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

    + Experience:

    + One year preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification:

    + Completion of NAI program, required.

    + Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.

    + Medication Safety - AME, required.

    + NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

    + Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
