UnityPoint Health – Grinnell provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in east central Iowa. A private, nonprofit, non-tax supported medical center, UnityPoint Health - Grinnell Regional Medical Center is the largest hospital in Iowa between Des Moines and Iowa City and serves more than 47,000 residents in 6 counties.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

+ Work independently alongside two staff members to provide care to Walk-In Clinic patients

+ Minimum 1 shift/month

+ Anticipated openings: 3-4 shifts/month

+ Clinic is open 6 days a week (closed on Sundays)

+ M-F 8:00am - 7:00pm

+ Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm

+ Avg. 25 patients/day

Qualifications

+ NP or PA

+ Board Eligible or Board Certified

+ Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

+ Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

+ Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
