    Job Description:

    **About this role:** As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Medical Oncology (PRN), you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical management for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout their care journey.

    You will be expected to:

    + Conduct thorough evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic workups for patients with hematology/oncology diagnoses.

    + Interpret laboratory results and radiologic imaging to inform clinical decision-making.

    + Collaborate closely with physician partners to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

    + Monitor and manage treatment-related toxicities and side effects.

    + Participate in follow-up care and survivorship planning to support long-term patient outcomes.

    + Perform in-office procedures, including bone marrow biopsies.

    + Provide compensated on-call coverage for outpatient medical oncology patients, with physician support available as needed.

    + You will provide coverage for the group as needed to ensure patient volumes are maintained.

    + You will practice at Lutheran Medical Center Radiation Oncology and Wheat Ridge Medical Oncology Clinic.

    + Your hours will vary, however each shift worked will be from 8am-5pm.

    What you’ll bring:

    + APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program

    + Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

    + Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one

    + Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

    + Minimum 1 year of NP or PA experience in oncology is required

    + We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

     

    $56.76 - $87.59
