**Pay Rate:** $17.50 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience

**1st Shift:** 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, possible OT

**2nd Shift:** 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday - Friday, possible OT

Key responsibilities:

+ Wire or fixture parts onto designated racks per general instructions (e.g., using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures).

+ Read and apply special instructions when required, ensuring correct part orientation and fixturing.

+ Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy and meet daily rack quotas.

+ Inspect incoming parts and report any defects or questionable conditions immediately to the Department Lead.

+ Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations (e.g., proper disposal of wire scraps, maintaining clear walkways).

+ Execute prescribed preventive maintenance on racking equipment (e.g., check wire cutters, lubricate pins, inspect rack fixtures) as scheduled.

+ Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision, consistently meeting production targets.

+ Collaborate with peers and leadership to support overall production demands and address issues promptly.

Preferred qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ At least 1 year of related racking, assembly, or finishing experience preferred.

+ Ability to read work orders and written instructions; legible penmanship for labeling and counts.

+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, counting by twos or tens).

+ Mechanical inclination: able to troubleshoot simple fixture or wire-break issues.

+ Strong attention to detail and thoroughness—ensuring each part is properly secured before moving downstream.

+ Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask during peak production cycles.

+ Effective written and verbal communication skills—able to report defects, ask clarifying questions, and document maintenance.

+ Safety-focused mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
