Special Instructions to Applicants
Applications for Lake Thoreau Attendants will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed. Attendants will be hired as either Attendants or Outdoor Staff (see below). Applicants should submit a resume, letter of interest, and list of three references with contact information.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. The University will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B).
Job Summary
Lake Thoreau Attendants perform a variety of tasks at the Lake Thoreau Environmental Center. Duties vary but include educational outreach, building/grounds maintenance, animal care, and event coordination/management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Responsible for opening and closing the center.
+ Ability to work and communicate well with others.
+ Assist with events that are hosted at Lake Thoreau.
+ Perform building/grounds maintenance.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
