JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Director of CQI and CQI Business Insights Manager, the Business Systems Supervisor will supervise and mentor a team of specialized analysts covering business and contract-related needs. This role will support with oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems, platforms and processes that have been identified as a need for the quality improvement of overall business operations (i.e. Microsoft packaging, survey tools, grant management systems, workflow tools, etc.). This role will lead the team in working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify needs and provide coaching and training opportunities for effective implementation and monitoring. The Business Systems Supervisor will ensure compliance will all contractual, local, state, and federal regulations and laws and continue to monitor systems for use, application, and overall data quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Supervise and mentor a team of specialized analysts covering business and contract-related needs
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local data and system standards and privacy regulations.
+ Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to improve data integration and system interoperability.
+ Develop and enforce data compliance and quality assurance protocols and performance metrics.
+ Lead process and system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting efforts.
+ Provide technical guidance and training to staff and stakeholders on system usage and best practices.
+ Analyze data trends and generate reports and dashboards to support strategic planning and decision-making.
+ Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with IT teams for system support and enhancements.
+ Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to processes and systems initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
+ Supervise and mentor a team of systems and business analysts to ensure high-quality data management and reporting.
+ Ensure legal compliance of existing HMIS (Homeless Management Information System), grant management system and other data systems.
+ Develop and enforce data quality assurance protocols and performance metrics.
+ Lead system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting efforts. Provide technical guidance and training to staff and stakeholders on data usage and best practices.
+ Analyze data trends and generate reports to support strategic planning and decision-making
+ Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with IT teams for system support and enhancements.
+ Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to business and systems initiatives.
+ Other duties as required (subject to change based on the needs of the organization).
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor-s degree in Data Science, Public Administration, Statistics, or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
+ 3-years experience in HMIS or systems analysis
+ 1-year in a supervisory role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Master-s degree preferred
+ Familiarity with HMIS, Adsystech, and/or Clarity programs
+ Familiarity with HUD data standards and reporting requirements is a plus.
