Job Description:
Agile Scrum Master
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master with over 6 years of proven expertise in leading IT software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and will be adept at facilitating high-performing teams to deliver quality software solutions on time. You will serve as a servant leader and coach, helping teams embrace Agile principles and continuously improve their processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead, coach, and mentor multiple Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software products.
+ Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
+ Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth team progress and delivery.
+ Collaborate closely with Product Owners to groom the product backlog, define user stories, and prioritize work.
+ Drive continuous improvement by assessing team performance and implementing Agile best practices.
+ Ensure teams follow Agile principles and company policies while adapting to changes in requirements or priorities.
+ Work cross-functionally with stakeholders including developers, QA, business analysts, and management to ensure alignment and transparency.
+ Track and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master in IT software development projects.
+ Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred).
+ Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile principles and practices.
+ Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities simultaneously.
+ Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master) preferred.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
+ Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or similar.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience working in a scaled Agile environment.
+ Background in software development or QA is a plus.
+ Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Ability to work in a remote or distributed team setup.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $64/hour **.** This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
