    Summary:

    The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining dealer and customer relationships, and representing our agricultural and construction equipment portfolio across the territory. This role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the agricultural and construction industry.

    Summary:

    The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining dealer and customer relationships, and representing our agricultural and construction equipment portfolio across the territory. This role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the agricultural and construction industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.

    • Build, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and end customers.

    • Identify new business opportunities and grow the dealer network within the territory.

    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training for dealers and customers at trade shows, open houses, and customer events.

    • Provide timely and accurate quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales.

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

    • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, product specialists) to improve product offerings and customer experience.

    • Attend national and regional trade shows, seminars, and dealer events as required.

    • Travel extensively within the territory (up to 75% of the time) to meet with dealers and customers.

    • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and submit required documentation (quotes, reports, forecasts) on time.

    • Represent the company professionally and uphold its values in all interactions.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in territory sales management, preferably in agricultural and construction equipment.

    • Strong understanding of equipment and dealer/distributor networks.

    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle shifting priorities.

    • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel frequently within the territory.

    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.

    Preferred Experience:

    • 5+ years in agricultural equipment sales or territory management.

    • Experience developing and managing dealer networks.

    • Background in agriculture or farming is a plus.
