+ **Shift:** 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Summary:

The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include:

+ Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills

+ Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

+ Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

+ Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members

+ Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 2 years Operating Room experience as an RN. Charge and/or Board Running experience preferred.

Certifications and Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ RN (Registered Nurse)

+ ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

+ Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

+ Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or RN Certification in related field

**Experience** :

+ Required includes 2 years RN experience

+ Preferred Experience includes 2 years Perioperative RN experience
