How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
At Delta Air Lines, we are continually looking to embrace
new technologies and improve the customer experience. To further this
objective, we are seeking a Mobile App Engineer to join The Hangar, our
innovation arm. At The Hangar, we work on initiatives across the entire
business-initiatives range from our complex global operation to the digital
booking experience. We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing
solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.
What would you do?
+ Work with a team of engineers andcross-divisionally with our partners to build mobile solutions for iOS andAndroid.
+ Build edge AI experiences withhardware and software components
+ Collaborate on building MR/VR andAR solutions on VisionOS
+ Deliver against the long-termvision for the Delta Air Line customer experience and the broader strategy forinnovation
+ Build mobile apps based on UXprocess and collaborate with design teams
+ Work as part of Scrum/Agile pod
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Bachelor's degree in computerscience or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
+ 7+ Years of Swift, Kotlin or othermobile development language but must be willing to work in Swift/iOS and Kotlin
+ Experience in MR/VR and ARtechnologies
+ Reinforcement Learning,Recommendation Systems, Audio Processing and GenAI
+ Knowledge of working in AWS/Azureis required.
+ A good understanding of AgileMethodology is required.
+ Must have the ability to work wellwith others in a time sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision,be results oriented and capable of meeting deadlines with attention to detailand follow through
+ Experienced with visual designtools such as Figma
+ Experience and familiaritypresenting to technical audiences
+ Consistently prioritizes safetyand security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking,and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma,GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age andhas authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Proficiency with fundamental front-end languagessuch as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
+ Proficiency with languages such as Python, Java.
+ Familiarity with building and integrating withGenAI and ML models
+ Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such asAngular JS, React.
+ Familiarity with database technology such asMySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
