Are you a visionary software engineer ready to shape the future of enterprise technology? Join us as an **Engineer III** and take the reins of innovation and strategy in a high-impact role within our **Application Services** team.

• What You’ll Do

+ Reads and interprets business requirements or incidents to create a design and coding solution to match the requirements.

+ Tests coded solutions to pass developer quality gates in order to implement a solution to a production environment.

+ Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly either written or orally with customers, business analysts, project managers, management or peers.

+ Collaborates as part of a team to achieve team goals and results

+ Supports colleagues with a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines.

+ Applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning and implementation of business initiatives.

+ Follows DevOps best practices

+ Collaborates on efficient design solutions with global outlook

+ Creates technical specifications

+ Assesses new technologies before adoption and implementation

+ Performs Risk analysis

+ Adopt Agile methodologies to develop software

• What You Bring

+ **5-7 years** of experience in software development and enterprise-level product leadership.

+ Deep expertise in programming languages, software architecture, and technical strategy.

+ Proven ability to lead and mentor large engineering teams.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.

**Pay Philosophy** : The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range $100k - $147k
