Requirements
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
+ Must have Insuance Claims experience
What You’ll Do
+ Build and maintain datasets for enterprise reporting and analytics.
+ Perform exploratory data analysis, data manipulation, and modeling to support business deliverables.
+ Facilitate meetings to define and document requirements for future reporting and visualizations.
+ Consult with teams across the organization to ensure data quality and accessibility.
+ Provide actionable recommendations based on your analysis.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
+ 2–4 years of relevant experience (or Associate’s degree plus 4–6 years).
+ Strong skills in SQL, SAS, VBA, Excel, and experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Access).
+ Ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience managing multiple projects and thriving in high-pressure environments.
Bonus Points For
+ Experience in insurance, banking, credit card, or financial industries.
+ Familiarity with platforms like VCGI04, AS400, Diamond, TronWeb.
+ Skills in SQL Server, Teradata, UNIX, LINUX, MVS, R, Cognos.
+ Programming experience in C, C++, JAVA, or other languages.
+ Database design expertise.
**Pay Philosophy** : The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $87k - $130k
