    What You’ll Do

    + Conduct **accurate vehicle damage assessments** using industry-leading software

    + Prepare **itemized appraisals** for parts, labor, and materials

    + Negotiate with repair shops, claimants, and policyholders to ensure fair and safe repairs

    + Stay current on **repair techniques, labor rates, and state regulations**

    + Travel for field inspections, re-inspections, and catastrophe duty as needed

    What You Bring

    + **3–6 years of appraisal experience**

    + **I-CAR Certified** (preferred, not required)

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills

    + A commitment to **customer service and integrity**

    + Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when needed

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree or specialized training

    + Valid MA Appraiser License (Required)

    + Experience negotiating with autobody repair shops and using industry appraisal software

    + Passion for continuous learning and industry engagement

    **Pay Philosophy** : The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

     

    Salary Range $58,800 - $106,400
