    The Sr. Manager, Value Stream for Cytiva is responsible for overseeing areas of production by:

     

    + Owning and driving improvements in line with defined KPI targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity/Cost.

    + Ensuring optimal staffing levels through active participation in recruitment processes and strategic planning of employee training and development, whilst also being responsible for creating and managing work schedules for the subordinate team.

    + Focusing on high product quality by adhering to internal procedures, maintaining full product traceability, and ensuring compliance with the quality management system.

     

    This position reports to the site’s Operations Lead, Sr. Manager and is located in Pensacola, FL as an on-site role.

    What you will do:

    + Own & drive KPIs for the designated area(s) across the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity/Cost.

    + Team Development (exempt & non-exempt) & Performance: Build high-performing operations department(s), fostering a safe, empowering environment that encourages skill development, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.

    + Pursue improvements via DBS (Danaher Business System), with a key focus on the fundamental tools such as 5S, Lean Conversion, Daily Management, and Problem-Solving Process.

    + Work closely with other departments such as Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Maintenance, and Engineering and lead efforts for key Customer Facing challenges.

    + Proactively work on on-time delivery, past due backlog, capacity constraints, forecast changes, raw materials and release criteria to mitigate risks to supply.

    + Lead Business Continuity Management initiatives for the designated area(s).

    + Ensure compliance with our quality management systems.

     

    Who you are

     

    + Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Science, Engineering or Supply Chain & Logistics.

    + Have at least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering.

    + Possesses leadership experience, with leadership roles in Operations, Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.

    + Works well in fast-paced environments, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to changes in responsibilities based on business needs.

    + Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams; manage performance; plan succession; and effectively communicate at all organizational levels, both written and verbal.

    + Hands-on Gemba experience with driving improvement efforts either with the use of lean tools, or problem-solving methodology. (Daily Management, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)

     

    Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

     

    + Ability to travel 10% of the time to other Cytiva manufacturing locations in the US and Worldwide, as required.

    + Ability to access gauges and equipment 5-6 feet off the ground, lift and move up to 50 lb.

    + Wear all necessary PPE which could include respirator, air hood, hearing protection, etc.
