    **Functional area:** Project Management

    **Remuneration:** Exempt

     

    The **Project Manager** leads the execution of renewable energy projects including construction safety, quality, schedule, contractor(s) scope and budget.

    Role Responsibilities:

    + Assure the timely execution of the project within the established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, technical quality and regulatory requirements

    + Proactively manage the execution of project contracts including review and approval of change orders and invoices

    + Coordinate project expectations, workflows and communications across multiple departments and Stakeholders, internal or external, to RWECE to ensure overall compliance with the project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules

    + Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others

    + Identify, report and manage project risks including collaboration with the appropriate project Stakeholders to develop mitigation plans

    + Select individuals on the project site team and provide them with appropriate direction and focus to accomplish project goals and objectives

    + Maintain appropriate communication with senior management and all project groups and functions within and outside the company. Prepare and distribute progress status reports, as required

    + Ensure the highest level of environmental health and safety on assigned renewable energy project(s)

    Job Requirements and Experiences:

    + Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related field from an accredited university

    + Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus

    + Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience

    + Experience in the power generation field is preferred

    + Construction field experience is preferred

    + Able to travel 25% to 50% of the time

    + Has a valid US driver’s license

    + Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships

    + Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space

    + Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams

    + Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines

    + Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables

    + Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team

    + Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities

    + Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate and lead people from a diverse set of backgrounds

    + Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable

    + Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts

    + This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE office and field locations

    + Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time
