Job Title: Executive Administrative Assistant/ Business Development Manager
Duration: 7 Months (High possibility for an extension after the budget approval)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (No OT). Occasional flexible hours to support manager in different time zones (1–2 times per quarter).
Pay rate Range: $30 to $35/hr
Candidate Requirements
+ **Experience:** 5–7 years overall experience in the field.
+ **Education:** No degree required (bachelor’s preferred).
+ **Preferred:** Prior experience at Microsoft.
+ **Disqualifiers:** Lack of experience supporting executives or senior leadership.
+ **Ideal Profile:**
+ Blend of Executive Assistant and Business Program Management experience.
+ Background in enterprise tech as EA, BPM, or PM is preferred.
+ **Performance Metrics:**
+ Accuracy and timeliness in calendar, travel, and expense management.
+ Effectiveness in communication and stakeholder engagement.
Summary of Role
The **Business Development Manager** maintains vendor relationships, acts as a business analyst for non-IT projects, and supports project management activities such as goal setting, budgeting, and metrics tracking. The role serves as a bridge between administrative support and strategic business management, reporting to a project manager or director.
Core Responsibilities
+ Manage travel, calendar scheduling, and expense tracking.
+ Maintain project communication, data storage, and business metrics.
+ Review contracts, cost proposals, and supplements.
+ Develop project and work breakdown structures.
+ Establish and document business processes.
+ Track and monitor budgets and expenditures, identify and mitigate overruns.
+ Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate logistics for committees and boards.
Required Skills
+ Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
+ Knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other enterprise applications.
+ Analytical ability to forecast budgets, revenues, and expenses.
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
+ 5–7 years of relevant experience required.
+ Preferred: Former Microsoft employee with EA/BPM/PM experience.
Top 3 Required Hard Skills
1. Calendar Management: Minimum 5 years supporting senior executives.
2. Stakeholder Management: Minimum 5 years engaging with VPs/CVPs.
3. Business & Financial Management: Minimum 5 years managing budgets or business operations.
