    Detailing Group Leader

     

    Nucor Buildings Group is looking for a Detailing Group Leader. This critical role will overseethe management of building orders within the engineering department, ensuring rigorousschedules are met with effective communication while also prioritizing team development.

    Basic Job Functions:

    + Project Management: Be the project manager for building orders through theengineering department, ensuring adherence to schedules, scope definition, continualcommunication, and follow-up.

    + Team Leadership: Offer direction, growth, and feedback opportunities to the detailing group, in conjunction with the supervisor. Set expectations for progress, productivity,participation, and conduct (quality, quantity, work habits, etc.).

    + Maximize Effectiveness: Mentor, coach, and lead individuals to realize and leveragetheir full potential, enhancing overall department effectiveness.

    + Recruitment and Training: Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new teammates to build a strong, successful team.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED.

     

    Experience with Microsoft Office software.

     

    Demonstrated Leadership Experience, either formal or informal.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Leadership Experience in a Professional Setting

     

    Construction, Steel, or Related Industry Knowledge
