Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Asst to join their team. As an Accounting Asst, you will be part of the Accounting Department supporting the team responsible for managing customer billings, remittances, invoices, and other transactional data. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Pay Range:** $22.85
What's the Job?
+ Provide general accounting clerical support within the assigned Accounting Department.
+ Prepare, process, and review recurring accounting transactions such as invoices, remittance advices, and customer checks, exercising independent judgment.
+ Assist in preparing responses to data requests and inquiries from internal and external customers.
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with other business partners within the organization.
+ Support the team with data entry and management using basic Excel and familiarity with relevant software tools.
What's Needed?
+ High School diploma or GED with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years of post-high school experience working with accounting transactional data and invoice processing.
+ Proficiency in basic Excel; familiarity with PeopleSoft, Brainware/OnBase, and ServiceNow is a plus.
+ Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing circumstances, and work effectively as part of a team.
+ Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds when working in the Remittance Processing department.
