Our client, a leader in industrial and scientific solutions, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting large-scale electrical distribution projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, strong communication skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Electrical Engineer

**Location:** Portage, MI

**Pay Range:** $42/hr-$44/hr

**Shift:** M-F 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

+ Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting systems.

+ Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of various design models.

+ Estimate project timelines and costs to ensure timely completion.

+ Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, and systems to optimize performance.

+ Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors to maintain industry standards and innovation.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

+ 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.

+ Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.

+ Strong understanding of electrical theory and its application to engineering projects.

+ Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
