    Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Test 1 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer in Test 1, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the testing and validation of innovative products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Software Design Engineer in Test 1

    **Location:** Mostly WFH, candidates must be located in Redmond, WA, and will need to pick up testing devices on occasion.

     

    Pay: $16.67/hr + Benefits

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Execute manual test scripts to ensure product quality and functionality.

    + Report and document product anomalies and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

    + Run automated test tools and analyze test results to identify issues.

    + Perform basic computer configuration and application compatibility testing.

    + Participate in bug bashes and exploratory testing to validate builds before release.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree, technical training certification, Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience.

    + Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications at a basic level.

    + Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.

    + Familiarity with product lifecycle and testing tools such as Fiddler is preferred.

    + Prior experience with testing, automation, or related roles is a plus; Microsoft experience is a bonus but not required.
