Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
**Location:** Lawrenceville, GA
**Pay Range:** $24
**Shift:** 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
+ Perform quality inspections on machined parts using a variety of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, including understanding of GD&T principles.
+ Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to the manufacturing team.
+ Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Support problem-solving efforts related to manufacturing quality issues using techniques like 5 Whys.
What's Needed?
+ Minimum of 3 years of multi-axis CNC machining experience and manufacturing quality background.
+ Minimum 3 years of multi-axis CNC machining experience as well as experience on the manufacturing quality side of things, blueprint reading, work instructions writing etc.
+ Technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, measurement tools, and reading engineering drawings.
+ Experience with quality systems such as ISO 9001 and lean improvement methodologies is a plus.
+ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, CAD drafting, ERP, and machine shop systems.
