Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Duration: 7 Months (High possibility for an extension depending on budget availability after current fiscal year)
Work Schedule & OT:
+ **Standard: Monday–Friday, ~40 hours/week**
+ **Flexibility required for APAC coordination (e.g., start ~10 AM PST, end ~6 PM PST)**
+ **No overtime expected**
Pay Rate Range: $30 to $35/hr
Role Summary
The main function of a Supply Chain Planner is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. This includes reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, costs, and other relevant metrics
Key Responsibilities
+ Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of hardware per purchase orders.
+ Manage APAC-related purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
+ Examine documents, materials, and products; monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
+ Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel, material requirements, and material priorities.
+ Record production data, including volume produced, raw material consumption, and quality control measures.
+ Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
+ Revise production schedules as needed due to design changes, labour/material shortages, or other interruptions.
+ Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
Candidate Requirements
Disqualifiers:
+ Missing core requirements (supply chain experience, analytics skills, program/project management)
+ Inflated or unrealistic achievements on resumes
+ Lack of ethics or trustworthiness
Ideal Candidate Profile:
+ Strong supply chain background with sourcing experience (managing suppliers and accountability)
+ Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau for analytics
+ Demonstrated program/project management experience
+ Strong communication, attention to detail, and analytical mindset
Skills
+ Verbal and written communication skills
+ Attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to analyse manufacturing, labour, and material costs
+ Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
+ Basic mentoring skills for providing support and constructive feedback
+ Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production
+ Experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Education & Experience
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ 5–7 years of relevant experience
