    Job Description

    Our client, a Series A startup in the insurance tech space, is looking to hire a DBA. This is a 4+ month contract position. In this role, you will help to advise, implement, and maintain the database system for the company from scratch.

    Contract Duration: 4+ months Required Skills & Experience

    + 8+ years of database administration and management experience

    + Expert level proficiency with Microsoft SQL server

    + Strong knowledge of cloud database technologies (AWS preferred)

    + Proven skills in performance monitoring, query tuning, indexing, and optimization

    + Experience with backup/restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + Background in fast-paced or regulated industries

    + Familiarity with database security and compliance best practices
