Now Hiring: Accounts Payable Specialist

• **Location:** Charleston, WV

• **Compensation:** up to $25/hour or $1000/week

• **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Position Overview

Manpower is seeking a detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Specialist** to join our team in Charleston. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting the broader accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and proper authorization

+ Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts; sort and code appropriately

+ Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system

+ Process payments via checks, wire transfers, and ACH

+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain organized vendor files and ensure policy compliance

+ Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and maximize discounts

+ Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

+ Provide documentation for audits and support tax record preparation

+ Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries

Qualifications

+ Must have knowledge of Intacct Sage Software

+ Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role

+ Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software

+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
