The Role
The Associate Control Systems Engineer will work as part of the Pueblo Engineering Team to design, specify, commission, and provide project management for instrumentation and control systems supporting production and utility systems used in batch & continuous specialty chemical manufacturing operations.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
+ Recommend, develop, and implement tools and methods to improve controls system reliability, safety, and reduce unscheduled equipment / process downtime:
+ Process network systems and infrastructure
+ PLC programming tools and methods
+ Instrumentation and controls systems design and installation
+ Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design and installation
+ SCADA system design, installation, and operation
+ This person will be responsible for configuring and programming of the PLC’s, data historian systems, operator interface or HMI screens, as well as, developing the scope, instrument specifications, procurement requisitions, installation, and commissioning of all the instrumentation and control systems equipment at the Pueblo site. These activities include seeking and adapting new technology to increase quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency in manufacturing through increased automation levels.
+ Provide troubleshooting support for ongoing operations, including support for callouts and remote troubleshooting
+ Develop data-driven methods and measures to improve process and equipment reliability
+ Ensure process controls infrastructure meets site and regulatory requirements
+ Ensure changes to process controls follow Fujifilm site Management of Change procedures
+ Interface with automation, instrumentation and equipment vendors to ensure effective equipment utilization, ensure use of best-known methods for industrial automation, and effectively document required information systems.
+ Creation/Maintenance of the site's Controls related Process Safety Information such as Interlock Tables, Controls Narratives, Cause/Effect Diagrams, etc.
+ Champion controls improvement projects and support other capital project development and execution as required.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
+ BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or other related engineering discipline
+ Ten years of practical experience is required in the field of instrumentation, process control system design, and programming of PLCs and HMI software, especially, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and GE Digital products. Prior experience in a batch and continuous chemical or pharmaceutical environment is desirable.
+ Scope development, design, scheduling, project management, and commissioning of assigned projects, both, independently and with the help of engineering firms.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to meet deadlines by creatively solving problems.
+ Must be capable of managing several tasks/projects simultaneously.
+ Gathers and interprets customer (internal) functional requirements and re-interprets them to prepare functional control descriptions for Control System programmers.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and shift previously established priorities in response to changing business needs.
+ Works in a collaborative manner with production management, project engineering, process engineers, commercialization engineers, quality engineers, IT engineers, and others.

PAY RANGE: The pay range for this role is estimated at $115,000/yr - $130,000/yr with actual wage based on candidate’s qualifications and experience.
