    Amazon shipping is seeking a strategic and results driven leader to join as a Sr. Program Manager to lead the Contact Optimization Workstream for Amazon Shipping. The role will focus on improving shipper experience and contact optimization using data insights and new solutions. We're looking for someone who can think big while working with stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Tech, and Operations teams. You will bring strong business judgment to identify automation and self-service opportunities, work well in ambiguous environments, and drive initiatives that enhance how shippers interact with our platform.

     

    You will own program governance and drive excellence across multiple workstreams. Key responsibilities include managing complex cross-team projects, improving processes, and delivering results through analysis and clear communication. We're seeking someone with experience in large-scale project delivery, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence teams across different groups. You should be a self-starter who can manage stakeholders effectively and lead programs that connect multiple parts of the organization.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Build the contact optimization charter by driving strategic initiatives for growth and quality improvement.

    • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across Commercial/Product/Tech/Operations teams and internal partner teams.

    • Lead/support development of product and operational requirements in close collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams.

    • Develop and maintain playbooks and documentation for recipient experience processes

    • Lead and/or support in key leadership update documents such as MBR/QBR, WW VP goals review.

    • Deliver clear and concise updates on status of the Program with detailed commentary on key challenges, risks and mitigations implemented.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of program or project management experience

     

    - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

    - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

    - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 8+ years of driving process improvements experience

     

    - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

     

    - Knowledge of and proficiency in Excel and SQL

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
