    Overview

     

    The Customer Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the company and key customer accounts, ensuring seamless communication, timely project updates, and proactive coordination of operational plans. This role is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with top customers through consistent, transparent, and professional communication while driving internal alignment to meet customer priorities and schedules.

     

    Salary: $55,000 - $75,000/yr DOE

    Responsibilities

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for top customer accounts, providing daily communication and detailed operational updates.

    + Prepare and distribute professional, detailed emails summarizing daily production plans, commitments, and schedule changes.

    + Communicate both positive updates and difficult information in a clear, respectful, and solution-oriented manner.

    + Proactively identify and communicate potential risks, delays, or changes in schedules to customers and internal stakeholders.

    + Attend daily customer meetings and conference calls to review requirements, upcoming needs, and ongoing projects.

    + Collaborate closely with management, production, and planning teams to ensure customer priorities and schedules are accurately communicated and executed.

    + Track and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer expectations.

    + Support internal teams with customer feedback and data to drive continuous improvement and alignment with client goals.

    + Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements, production capabilities, and internal processes to ensure accurate and effective communication.

    Skills / Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in customer project management, operations coordination, or account management in a manufacturing or production environment.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    + Proven ability to deliver both positive and difficult information professionally.

    + High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and project management tools.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
