Payroll Tax Specialist

Adecco is assisting a client in their search for a **Payroll Tax Specialist** ! This is a **remote, contract position** through March, providing payroll tax assistance to support year-end and new-year tax activities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with ADP to resolve open payroll tax issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
+ Facilitate the registration and setup of new state and local jurisdictions for payroll tax purposes.
+ Communicate directly with state and local tax authorities when ADP is unable to obtain information or resolve issues independently.
+ Maintain detailed tracking of all open items, document actions taken, and provide weekly progress updates.
+ Ensure full compliance with all applicable payroll tax laws, regulations, and filing deadlines.
Qualifications:
+ Prior experience with ADP payroll systems and tax services is required.
+ Strong understanding of multi-state payroll tax compliance.
+ Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience resolving tax notices and/or handling tax registrations is highly preferred.
**Pay Details:** $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
