Job Title: Plumbing Designer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer with over 5 years of experience to lead full-system plumbing design for commercial and institutional buildings. The role involves working from concept through construction, requiring strong proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam, and a solid understanding of plumbing codes and standards.
Responsibilities
+ Lead or contribute to the design of complete plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
+ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure code-compliant, efficient designs.
+ Attend site visits as needed, typically within the Front Range region.
+ Coordinate with internal team members and external consultants.
+ Support project documentation and revisions using Revit and Bluebeam.
+ Contribute to project delivery from concept through construction administration.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of plumbing design experience.
+ Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.
+ Experience designing full plumbing systems independently.
+ Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards.
+ Excellent communication and coordination skills.
+ Must reside in Colorado’s Front Range and be available for site visits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with medical gas systems for healthcare projects.
+ Familiarity with MEP coordination workflows.
+ Prior experience in consulting or design-build environments.
Work Environment
The role offers a remote work arrangement but requires residency in Colorado, ideally in the Denver Area, for site access. The work schedule includes 9-hour workdays from Monday to Thursday, with half-days on Fridays. The team operates in a flexible environment, allowing remote or in-office work as long as midday hours are covered. The company provides excellent benefits including 250 days of PTO per year, a shutdown between Christmas and New Year, healthcare contributions, disability insurance, and a 401K matching plan. Career progression is supported with paths towards Project Management or Senior Level Technical Subject Matter Expert roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.37 - $55.00/hr.
