Project Engineer
Job Description
The role of a Project Engineer involves leading projects focused on site construction, storm drainage, roadways, sanitary sewers, water lines, grading, erosion control, and water quality design for both private development and municipal projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with survey and utility teams as well as landscape architects to ensure seamless project execution. This role covers project management from conception to completion, including client coordination, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, project scheduling, coordination with consultants, reviewing agencies, and utility companies, as well as obtaining construction permits.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage projects related to site construction and infrastructure design.
+ Coordinate with survey and utility teams and landscape architects.
+ Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring client coordination.
+ Perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and manage project scheduling.
+ Coordinate with consultants, reviewing agencies, and utility companies.
+ Obtain necessary construction permits for project execution.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
+ 5+ years of experience in design.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Strong project management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, Engineer in Training (EIT) required.
+ Candidates without a Civil Engineering degree may be considered with 7+ years of design experience within Civil site.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
