Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in lithium battery technology to contribute to the design, assembly, and testing of autonomous vehicles and auxiliary equipment. These projects support defense, marine research, and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

+ Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

+ Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for various purposes including commercial, industrial, and domestic.

+ Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Perform visual inspections and quality control to identify non-conforming products.

+ Ensure the logical conversion of electrical system requirements into optimized assembly, testing, and maintenance methods.

+ Develop and maintain accurate documentation.

+ Support development of automated test fixtures.

+ Perform other electrical engineering duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical engineering and design.

+ Experience with energy systems and lithium batteries.

+ Ability to conduct quality inspections and control.

+ Blueprint reading and interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 7 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field.

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.

+ Experience in multi-disciplinary product development teams.

+ Experience in architecting platform electrical and power systems.

+ Experience with circuit card assemblies and automated test fixtures.

+ Familiarity with systems for DoD, academic, or commercial use.

This role is within a business group focused on unmanned systems, creating advanced solutions for defense, marine research, and commercial applications. The position involves collaboration with a skilled workforce dedicated to mission-driven solutions. The work environment includes a blend of design, autonomy, manufacturing, and operations, serving a diverse customer base across more than 30 countries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pocasset, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
