    Position Description:

    We are seeking a Proposal Manager to join our CGI team!

     

    This career opportunity can be performed in our CGI office located in Greenwood Village, CO. Also, Salt Lake City, UT; Phoenix, AZ; Henderson, NV; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA. However, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

     

    Some travel may be required!

You will work with a team of dedicated and knowledgeable members to provide proposal management on strategic opportunities to support critical IT and mission support programs for a wide variety of U.S. state and local projects as well as commercial clients throughout the West Region.

     

    You will collaborate with an impressive group of technical experts, marketing professionals, and dynamic leaders to craft compelling and substantive proposal responses for our clients.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    How you'll make an impact

     

    As the pursuit moves from strategy development to solution and proposal development, the Proposal Manager becomes the right hand of the Opportunity Pursuit Leader (OPL) for proposal planning and budgeting, proposal development, and post-submittal activities.

     

    This role functions to embody the strategy and the solution in the proposal such that it is communicated in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

     

    The Proposal Manager also applies their proposal process subject matter expertise to ensure compliance with the RFP as well as CGI's best practices.

     

    A successful pursuit and proposal depend largely on a close working relationship and clearly defined responsibilities between the OPL and the Proposal Manager.

    . Manage entire proposal development process

    . Ensure that proposal messaging and themes are effectively communicated to the team

    . Oversee creation, editing, and production of all proposal components and related artifacts

    . Develop the Proposal Management Plan (schedule, outline, writer's matrix, templates), ensuring establishment of proposal development infrastructure and staffing and training proposal contributors

    . Lead development of proposal outline and cross reference to RFP, and questions/comments on RFP

    . Manage the proposal storyboard/mock-up process, writing, and editing of all proposal drafts

    . Train, mentor, and consult with proposal authors to enhance quality of sections and implement review comments

    . Coordinate and manage all proposal Team Reviews, including Pink, Red and Gold Team reviews, Green Team reviews, and White Glove review

    . Provide coordination with production (graphics and DTP) throughout proposal development period

    . Ensure overall quality of proposal products, overseeing proposal production, managing proposal costs to budget, and on-time delivery of proposal

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    What you'll bring

     

    5+ years of directly related proposal management experience

    Additional experience with the following is required:

    . Experience with industry best practices in proposal management (such as Shipley or similar process)

    . Proposal writing to include mentoring/training proposal contributors and Volume Lead experience

    . Editorial practice and standards

    . Broad and specific range of State, and local government procurement regulations and practices (including FAR and DFAR)

    . Significant experience working with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    . Strong detail-driven communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks efficiently

     

    Education requirements: Bachelor's degree

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,600.00 - $134,100.00.
