Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning, directing, and evaluating the activities of nursing personnel within the assigned area. You will conduct daily conferences with unit staff and ensure smooth communication of policy changes. This position requires a compassionate individual who can coordinate with team members to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available and provide consultation to resolve immediate issues.
Responsibilities
+ Endorse, interpret, and enforce the objectives and procedures of the Nursing Department.
+ Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within assigned area.
+ Conduct daily conferences with unit staff to review and communicate recent policy and procedure changes.
+ Extend courtesy to all unit visitors.
+ Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available on assigned unit.
+ Provide consultation for unit personnel, resolve immediate problems, and communicate action to Unit Supervisor.

+ NYS licensure as an LPN
+ Good oral and written communication skills

+ 6+ months experience in case management, geriatrics, triage

Work Environment
This position requires a commitment to attending orientation from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The work schedule includes day shifts from 7:30am to 3:30pm, evening shifts from 3:30pm to 11:30pm, and night shifts from 11:30pm to 7:30am. The role offers holiday pay and is a union position once converted to a permanent employee. Our organization is women-owned and founded, and we have over 200 contingent workers at our facility.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00/hr.
