Job Title: AutoCAD DrafterJob Description
We are seeking a talented AutoCAD Drafter to create detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment, work areas, and components. This role focuses on designing grocery store delivery stations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in every design.
Responsibilities
+ Work with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts.
+ Translate requirements and standards into detailed interior CAD drawings.
+ Collaborate with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, and various teams to deliver approved design sets.
+ Review and engage with stakeholders on permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans.
+ Support the Design quality control process through daily peer reviews and adherence to checklists and standards.
+ Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, expansions, and retrofits to enhance safety, quality, and capacity.
+ Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and design, with 3+ years of experience.
+ Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse environments.
+ Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Revit is a preferred skill.
+ 3+ years of project coordinating experience.
+ Associates Degree.
+ Excellent project management skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate with various stakeholders.
Work Environment
The position requires working onsite in Bellevue, WA, three days a week. The work involves collaborating within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with enhanced benefits including 15 days of PTO and seven holidays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
