    Job Title: Calibration Technician

    Job Description

    The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibrations, inspections, and measurements on test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy of s pressure, temperature, time, force, torque, speed, flow, electric current, voltage, and resistance.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform calibrations, inspections, and measurements on test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.

    + Use assigned calibration standards and procedures.

    + Document all aspects of calibration events.

    + Evaluate contracts and work orders to ensure all work can be properly completed.

    + Assist customers with traceability or procedural questions in calibrations and resolve technical contract issues.

    + Develop and maintain preventative maintenance and laboratory safety/housekeeping programs and ensure team compliance.

    + Quantify sources of measurement error and determine measurement uncertainty.

    + Aid in the setup of processes and paperwork related to calibration.

    + Complete administrative tasks related to incoming calibrations as necessary.

    + Perform minor repairs as necessary.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + ISO experience.

    + Hands-on calibration experience.

    + Experience in metrology and calibration processes.

    + Ability to resolve technical contract issues.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
