Job Title: BIM DesignerJob Description
We are seeking a talented BIM Designer to join our team in assisting with the production of technology construction drawings using Revit. You will be responsible for modeling construction plans, details, smart schedules, and parametric Revit families, ranging from LOD 200 to 400.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in producing technology construction drawings using Revit.
+ Model construction plans, details, smart schedules, and parametric Revit families (LOD 200-400).
+ Support low voltage design work.
+ Design physical security systems in Revit.
+ Utilize BIM, AutoCAD, Navisworks for construction documentation and design.
+ Participate in technology engineering and IT infrastructure projects.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit.
+ Experience supporting low voltage design work.
+ Experience designing physical security systems in Revit.
+ Experience with construction documentation.
+ 5-10 years of BIM experience, particularly in the technology space.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with data center projects is highly preferred.
+ Experience working with low-voltage systems.
+ Experience designing and placing physical security systems within a drawing set.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote opportunity, and you do not need to be local to Chicago. You will plug in remotely with Revit and Bluebeam systems. Please note that you will need to provide your own laptop, as equipment will not be provided. The first week will consist of training to learn our Revit systems and families. This is an exciting opportunity to support the rapidly growing data center market.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
