The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, training, and support of clients on CNC turning centers. This role involves establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers throughout North America while providing high-quality service and technical support.
Responsibilities
+ Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits.
+ Manage the installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
+ Diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions.
+ Collaborate with the technical team to share insights and enhance service quality.
+ Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations for products and services.
+ Demonstrate and educate customers on systems and their functionalities.
+ Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues and proper follow-up.
+ Utilize individual skillsets at the plant when not traveling to assist in various projects.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
+ Likely to work in assembly when not traveling for field visits.
Essential Skills
+ Proven field service experience with knowledge of CNC machining.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to address customer concerns effectively.
+ Proficiency in testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.
+ Understanding of CNC controls, electronic circuits, and fluid power systems.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong adaptability skills for diverse industrial environments.
+ Ability to follow complex directions and communicate technical information clearly.
+ Resourceful, with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
+ Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Technical degree or certification in a relevant field preferred.
+ Experience in construction, electrical, service, data entry, electronics, mechanical aptitude, assembly, CNC, customer support, fluid systems, and repair.
+ Culture fit with a small family-owned company.
Work Environment

Our Field Service Engineers operate in diverse industrial settings, ensuring every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. While much of your time will be spent traveling to customer sites across North America, you’ll also collaborate with our in-house team on assembly projects when not on the road. Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lexington,KY.
