Position Summary:
We are seeking a collaborative and strategic leader with deep expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and marketing technology (MarTech) to accelerate the adoption and enablement of innovative tools that enhance customer engagement across our Front Store, Pharmacy, and CMX businesses.
The AVP, Customer Engagement Technology - Marketing will drive the vision, implementation, and optimization of our customer engagement technology stack, ensuring seamless integration with business goals and delivering personalized, data-driven experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the strategy, implementation, and enablement of PCW’s customer engagement technology ecosystem.
+ Optimize marketing effectiveness through advanced customer segmentation, personalization, and targeting using AI and MarTech platforms.
+ Partner with business owners and enterprise digital teams to enhance PCW’s public web presence, driving roadmap development and execution.
+ Champion the use of emerging technologies, including generative AI, to deliver best-in-class marketing while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
+ Advocate for the customer by influencing capability development that enhances the consumer experience.
+ Introduce innovative approaches to deliver differentiated digital experiences that attract, engage, and retain PCW customers.
+ Build and lead a high-performing team focused on marketing technology innovation and value creation.
Required Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of experience in marketing technology and operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
+ Proven expertise in CRM and MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, and Google Marketing Platform.
+ Hands-on experience with AI tools including generative AI platforms (e.g., Writer AI, Jasper, Stencil).
+ Strong understanding of marketing workflows across paid and owned channels (digital, video, print, integrated).
+ Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing platforms.
+ Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Workfront) and resource planning systems.
+ Demonstrated success in navigating matrixed organizations and supporting multiple brands or business units.
+ Experience managing hybrid or remote teams across time zones.
+ Strong operational and strategic thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when engaging executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments.
+ Background in digital transformation or customer experience strategy.
+ Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
+ Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs) and personalization engines.
Education:
+ **Bachelor’s Degree required** in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ **Master’s Degree preferred** in Marketing Technology, Digital Strategy, or Business Administration.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$157,800.00 - $363,936.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
