Description
Cad drafter ensures high quality, efficient, and innovative structural designs that meet customer needs while aligning with Wilson Lumber Company's mission of operational excellence. This role leverages advance design tools to support timely project execution , cost efficiency, and long term customer satisfaction. The Cad Drafter will be instrumental in supporting the strategic objective to deliver value-add services and strength partnerships in the industry
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Design responsibilities: Utilize advance design software to create accurate and efficient designs for trusses, beams and LVL./Joists
Maintain up to date technical knowledge to provide innovative and code compliant solutions
Customer Collaboration : Communicate effectively with customers to gather requirements, clarify project needs, and provide technical guidance
- Ensure designs alight with specifications, budget, and schedules, fostering trust and long term relationships
Cross Functional Coordination: - Collaborate with the sales, production, and installation team to ensure seamless projects execution
Process Improvement:
-Recommend and implement improvements in design workflows to enhance accuracy and reduce turnaround time
- participate in training sessions to adopt new design software and techniques.
Positions Qualifications :
-Proven expertise in design , CAD or related areas
Education :
Level 1: 0-2 years
Level 2 : 3-5 years
Level 3: 5-7 years
Experience Level
Entry Level
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $40.87/hr.
