    Independently manage solar construction projects of varying sizes and complexities from pre-construction to project closeout, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to meet or exceed planned profits.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee and manage all financial aspects of projects.

    + Engage with clients and subcontractors, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively.

    + Provide conceptual information to illustrate ideas and concepts.

    + Facilitate and lead productive and effective meetings.

    + Prepare project baseline schedules and update them throughout the project lifecycle, using actual data versus baseline to substantiate delays and impacts.

    + Track and manage project financial budgets versus actuals, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

    + Monitor field productivity, comparing estimates to actuals, and adjust to protect labor budget and project profit.

    + Own project safety, conducting weekly audits and leading incident investigations and reporting to contribute positively to the company safety culture.

    + Identify project impacts and delays, provide timely notifications as per contract documents, and prepare detailed documentation for claim submissions.

    + Solve problems by understanding the root cause, developing solutions, and ensuring implementation.

    + Comprehend complex project concepts and manage them for success.

    + Travel overnight 3-4 days per week throughout the Midwest.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in project management and construction management.

    + Proven experience in managing solar construction projects from pre-construction to project closeout.

    + Proficiency in project scheduling, financial reporting, budget management, and project communication plans.

    + Familiarity with BIM tools and other project-related processes.

    + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 2 years of project engineering experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with design, RFI, change orders, and project engineering.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves both office and field work, requiring overnight travel 3-4 days per week throughout the Midwest.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
