Job Description
Join a dynamic team at a Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility as a Sanitation Technician. This role involves supporting the cleaning and maintaining the sterility of cleanrooms, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform routine sanitization of aseptic areas and conduct environmental monitoring.
+ Maintain cleanliness and sterility of cleanroom environments and equipment.
+ Participate in event response and deviation investigations as needed.
+ Record and review data in batch production records (BPRs) using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
+ Provide input on SOPs and other controlled documents.
+ Train peers in sanitization procedures and cross-functional systems.
+ Follow all safety and environmental protocols in daily operations.
+ Support process alignment across Aseptic Core Sanitization, Cartridge and Vial Filling Lines, Wash & Sterilization, and Formulation.
Essential Skills
+ Bioworks and manufacturing operations experience.
+ Experience in biotechnology or BioWorks/Associates in Biotechnology.
+ Understanding of GMP knowledge.
+ Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
+ Previous housekeeping or sanitization experience preferred.
+ Healthcare background or previous manufacturing experience in GMP environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Pharma experience is a plus.
+ Experience in food, medical device, or cosmetic industries is beneficial.
+ Bioworks/Associates in Biotech indicates a strong desire to be in pharma and initiative to learn more.
Work Environment
This is a manufacturing environment where you will work on your feet for 12-hour shifts. The facility offers a supportive team culture that values diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance. Training will initially take place on the day shift from Monday to Friday before transitioning to the assigned shift. Scrubs and close-toed shoes/work boots are provided. The facility promotes a collaborative atmosphere where everyone is eager to help new team members succeed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
